Amazing Community Care Pty Ltd specialise in NDIS Disability Services. Supported Independent Living or SIL is a NDIS-funded service in which we help you live as independently as possible. For many people with mental illness or a disability, it is not easy to live on their own or with their family. Therefore, group or shared accommodation allows them to receive day-to-day support while living in a suitable accommodation. We try to match like-minded housemates based on compatibility and shared hobbies or interests so that everyone in the accommodation gets along on the best of terms. Normally, two to seven people share an accommodation, each with their own private room.

Our support with SIL includes the following services:

Lower needs- this involves supervision of living arrangements and is usually not 24/7.
Standard needs- this involves assistance or supervision of most daily tasks and is available 24/7.
Higher needs- this involves managing challenging behaviour, positive behaviour support, assistance with daily tasks and is 24/7 active support

While providing support/supervision as you go about your daily life. It is a service that we most commonly provide where the living arrangements are shared. Our dedicated and highly-trained staff work with you, your carers and your family to help you identify your strengths and goals and create a support plan that is tailor-made to suit your specific needs.
